Kitchens by Holloways has a small showroom. The client wanted the lighting to create drama and draw the eye to a particular kitchen layout. To achieve this, the lighting had to be zoned.
We used the Cortes 48v system to draw the eye to the rear of the showroom. This low voltage track system is the slimmest linear system on the market. Its digital smart dimming allows for easy changes in lighting effects.
Hidden linear lighting was installed to add height to the area. The products we used were Volans trimless LED linear lighting and Volans tunable white linear LED lighting which is ideal for long runs, fully dimmable and matched with many profiles.
Casambi wireless, Bluetooth lighting controls were used to make adjusting and dimming each of the 19 circuits manageable. Having numerous dimmers would have been complex and difficult to handle.
For the client, being able to set different lighting scenes for morning and evening allowed them to present the showroom at its best at all times.
